Driven stir-fry crazy! Hilarious moment dog can’t work out how to eat a noodle
- Salt Lake City owner decided it was time Honey was introduced to the new food
- The canine eyes up the foot-long noodle with suspicion and tries to lick it
- She then decides to clamp down on the noodle with her jaw but it slips through
An owner thought she would spice up his pet dog’s mealtime by offering her noodles instead of her same mundane dinner.
But when Honey is presented with a single piece of noodle held between the owner’s hands, footage shows her looking totally baffled.
In the YouTube clip posted from Syracuse, Utah, Honey can be seen eyeing up the foot-long pasta with suspicion.
You might expect Honey, who belongs to a Salt Lake City musician, to be a tad confused by the noodle being outstretched in front of her.
Her normal treats are usually dangled in front of her to snap up.
Working out what to do, she begins by closing in on the noodle and inspecting its full length from left to right.
Eventually, she backs off and barks in frustration.
A man and woman can be heard in the clip trying to encourage the pooch to eat the noodle.
Honey is desperately trying to figure out how to eat the noodle offered to her by the owner in Salt Lake City
After licking it, Honey decides she needs to just clamp down on the noddle with her jaws but it slips through the gap
‘Honey, get it. What’s wrong? Come on get it – eat it,’ they say.
Sceptical, Honey again moves forward towards the rice noodle, and this time tentatively begins licking it.
She then tries to clamp it between her jaws but it simply slips past her incisors and into a gap, leaving the noodle still intact.
Dogs love human food but it’s not always good for them. Experts say plain cooked pasta like penne makes a great treat as long as the animals don’t have a gluten or wheat allergy.
Oh I give up!: The canine is no longer interested in the noodle being offered to her and looks away
