Guinness Nigeria Plc has introduced the appointment of Dr Omobola Johnson as the brand new Chairman of its board, with impact from July 1, 2021.

This follows the retirement of the present Chairman, Babatunde Savage, from the place, with impact from June 30, 2021.

In his letter addressing the board in compliance with the relevant company governance regulation, Savage expressed his pleasure on the alternative to have been part of the Guinness story over the past 4 a long time.

He thanked the board of Guinness Nigeria and Diageo UK for the chance to have served in a number of capacities, first as an worker who held varied strategic senior roles, then as an Executive Director, and later as Chairman of the board, a task that he held for nearly 12 years.

He stated, “After almost 40 amazing years, my journey with Guinness Nigeria is coming to an end. Guinness Nigeria is and will always be family to me.”
