Joey Jaey is a Canadian singer, songwriter and music producer who was born to Catholic mother and father in Nigeria. He discovered his ardour for music when he was barely 11 years outdated & attending faculty in Southern Nigeria. Joey grew to become the singing prefect within the seminary – that means he was given the job of composing melodies for psalms and hymnals. His ardour and expertise for music grew to become instantly obvious.
Upon finishing his seminary schooling, Joey left the priesthood vocation and went on to bag a number of legislation levels and certifications. He has practiced legislation since 2011 in Nigeria, and since 2017 in Canada. Throughout his profession in legislation, he continued along with his ardour for music by writing songs for distinguished artists based mostly in each his house nation of Nigeria and overseas.
Fast ahead to June 2020, launched his first single that includes Ajuju and Mayer, and his debut EP ‘Discovery’ which will be described as a fusion of various music genres – from Pop to Reggaeton.
Joey Jaey’s subsequent single ‘Treat You Right’ is about black poisonous masculinity. ‘Treat You Right’ is about how focused and purposeful emasculation has led to an intense overcorrection amongst black males, resulting in distorted concepts about what it means to be a person.
