President Trump Departs From the White House

At roughly 8AM ET this morning (Jan. 20), President Trump boarded Marine One for perhaps the final time, departing the White House to close out the first term of his presidency. Musicians took to social media to react to the historic moment.

Donald Trump chose to not attend Joe Biden’s inauguration nor greet him at the White House, though it’s reported that Vice President Pence will be there when Biden is sworn in today at approximately noon ET. Biden’s running mate, Kamala Harris, will become the United States’ first ever female and first person of color to be elected Vice President.
