A desperate police operation is underway including helicopters and the dog squad after a nine-year-old girl was reported missing in the Blue Mountains.
Police received the report about 8.20am on Friday, that a nine-year-old girl had been missing from a property at Mt Wilson, 60km north-west of Richmond, since Thursday.
Charlise Mutten, aged nine, was described as being of Caucasian appearance, with brown hair.

A desperate police operation is underway after a nine-year-old girl was reported missing in the Blue Mountains, with helicopters engaged in an aerial bush search (pictured, a stock image of a Pol-air police helicopter)
It’s not known what she was wearing at the time, but police did release an image of the smiling girl.
NSW police swarmed across the local area and set up camp near the Mt Wilson property, at the local rural fire station.
Police rescue and dog units are assisting Blue Mountains police in the search, with pol-air also launching an aerial search of local bushland.
Members of the local rural fire service and the state emergency services are also involved.
