Virginia lawyer, 45, accused of ‘coercing six teens to have sex with him for money and gifts’

A Virginia lawyer, Matthew Erausquin, aged 45, is facing a sex-trafficking charge for allegedly coercing at least six teenage girls into having sex with him. The report states that he portrayed himself as a ‘sugar daddy,’ enticing the girls with money and lavish gifts such as Tiffany’s bags. The incidents have been occurring since 2017.

Erausquin, a founding partner of Consumer Litigation Associations and an Air Force veteran based in Northern Virginia, is accused of engaging in sexual acts with underage girls in exchange for money, drugs, and expensive presents, including Tiffany purses and a camera.

One distressing incident involved Erausquin allegedly infecting one of the victims with a sexually transmitted disease, resulting in a mental breakdown.

An arrest warrant was issued on November 16 in Arlington, and the affidavit was unsealed on Thursday in Virginia federal court. According to The Daily Beast, Erausquin’s victims attended three different high schools.

DailyMail.com has reached out to Erausquin’s firm for comment, but there has been no response yet.

The investigation into Erausquin’s activities began in May 2019 when a 17-year-old girl reported to the Fairfax County Police that an adult male was paying multiple high school girls for sex, and her friend was one of the victims.

Victims reported that Erausquin was fully aware of their age from the beginning and did not care that they were minors. They claimed that he would pay them in cash and offer expensive gifts, such as Tiffany’s purses, cameras, and weed, in return for sexual encounters.

Erausquin seemed to have a preference for threesomes and was unapologetically involved in explicit relationships with the minors.

One victim revealed that she met Erausquin when she was 16 years old through a ‘sugar daddy’ website, where she stated she was 18 to comply with the site’s guidelines, but used actual pictures of herself. She described how Erausquin requested a video of her engaging in a sexual act and offered her $200 for it. After fulfilling the request and meeting him in person, they engaged in a threesome.

Throughout the encounters, Erausquin allegedly gave them chocolate marijuana edibles, and he seemed well-informed about their personal lives, indicating that he had been following them closely.

Investigators discovered that Erausquin allegedly gave one of the girls a sexually transmitted virus, leading to her hospitalization due to a mental breakdown.

Victims also reported that Erausquin threatened to sue them if they went to the police, claiming that having sex with a minor was not a significant crime compared to extortion.

Erausquin’s interactions with the minors were characterized by manipulation and exploitation, with no regard for the harm caused to the victims.
